Brad joined the Center For Literacy Studies in May of 2001 as a Research Associate for Data Reporting. His primary work is in the area of data reporting and the development of accountability systems for Adult Education in Tennessee. Brad is also the primary contact person for questions regarding NRS (end of year) reporting for all state AE programs.

He received his B.S. in Logistics and Transportation from UTK in 1988 and his M.S. in Technological and Adult Education from UTK in 1994. Brad taught for 6 years in both adult and secondary education. He also helped to coordinate and document Pellissippi State's Year 2000 compliance efforts. Most recently Brad worked as an Information Resource Support Specialist with the Department of Human Services.

In his spare time Brad enjoys reading, travel, computers, photography, hiking, and learning new things. He also enjoys volunteering with the Mission of Hope and as a tutor with Lonsdale Elementary School.
