Beth Ponder, Associate Director

Beth Ponder is an Associate Director of the Center for Literacy Studies and has been with the Center for more than ten years. She is currently the project director for the LINCS Region II Professional Development Center (RPDC) funded through the Department of Education, Office of Adult and Vocational Education. This project provides online resources and professional development, both face-to-face and online for adult education practitioners across the United States. 

Previously she was the team leader in charge of the Center for Literacy Studies' Tennessee Adult Education team, responsible for technical assistance and professional development for adult education staff across the state. Ms. Ponder has a Bachelor's Degree in English and graduate work in the field of Information Sciences. In her spare time, Ms. Ponder likes to read, travel, work on her old house, and spend time with her family.
